EUDR VERITAS

Independent Assurance for a Regulation That Leaves No Room for Guesswork.

Our Story

EUDR Veritas was founded by specialists in forestry, supply chain traceability, and regulatory compliance who saw companies struggling to translate a complex piece of EU legislation into a workable, everyday compliance process. The EU Deforestation Regulation does not permit vague assurances — it demands geolocated, dated, and legally defensible evidence for every consignment placed on the EU market. We built EUDR Veritas to deliver exactly that: methodical, independent, and audit-ready compliance support for organizations of every size.

Our name reflects our approach. Veritas — truth — is the standard we hold every assessment to. We do not simply help clients complete paperwork; we verify what is actually happening in their supply chains and document it in a way that withstands scrutiny from regulators, buyers, and civil society alike.

Our Mission

To give every organization touched by the EU Deforestation Regulation a clear, evidence-based path to compliance — protecting forests, strengthening supply chains, and safeguarding market access.

Our Vision

A global trade system in which deforestation-free sourcing is the default, not the exception — supported by transparent data and verifiable due diligence at every tier of the supply chain.

Our Values

Integrity — We report what the evidence shows, not what is convenient.

Rigor — We apply consistent, defensible methodology to every assessment, regardless of client size or origin complexity.

Independence — Our conclusions are never influenced by commercial relationships with suppliers or buyers.

Transparency — We explain our methodology openly, so clients understand exactly how a risk rating or finding was reached.

Partnership — We see compliance as an ongoing relationship, not a one-off transaction, and we build our clients' internal capability along the way.

Our Team

EUDR Veritas brings together a multi-disciplinary team of forestry and land-use specialists, geospatial (GIS/remote sensing) analysts, supply chain auditors, and EU regulatory and legal advisors. This combination allows us to move fluidly between satellite-level deforestation analysis and on-the-ground supplier verification, then translate both into documentation regulators and buyers can rely on.

Accreditation & Standards

Our methodology is aligned with the EU Deforestation Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1115), relevant European Commission implementing guidance, and recognized international due diligence frameworks, including the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct.
